Perhaps it is their location near the stunning and expansive beaches of Zuma, El Matador or Malibu Beach. Or maybe it is just that the overall quality of service and accommodation that Malibu boutique hotels offer, always seem a little bit more special than similar properties in other parts of Southern California.

Nevertheless, Malibu is a place I always look forward to visiting. I love its pristine beaches, upscale shopping, and stunning celebrity homes. 

Whenever I go there, I always make a point of staying in a boutique hotel in Malibu as well. Where else can you get yoga classes, guided hikes, and farm-to-table dining as part of your accommodation experience? That’s why I always seek out a top boutique hotel Malibu has to offer.

Staying in boutique hotels in Malibu adds an extra layer of charm and sophistication to my experience. In fact, it even makes me feel like a movie star, especially if I am relaxing in a deep soaking bubble bath with a glass of fine wine (highly recommend!).

Eastern Malibu

One of the nicest is Malibu Pier, which is located at the heart of the city’s downtown area.
